Heya' Fellys!
Welcome BACK to this week's edition of "Throwback Thursday"! It's been a while, hasn't it? I'm not sure if this series will resume, but there will at least be some time to time!
Today, we are looking at The Island's old advertisements (Advertisements for parties and events that would appear on the outer background of the Town Center from 2011 - 2018), we are specifically going to be looking at some from 2011 - 2013 today, though! Let's get started.
Let's start off with one that's unique!
Here's an advertisement that was showing what was coming in June 2011, this was back in May 2011. The unique thing about this is it was the second ever drawing of a Felly! But wait, it's actually technically the first... That's right, that Felly was drawn before the Bend Band ever was, so it really is actually the FIRST ever Felly that was ever drawn- That is why it's orange and not white, and why the eyes are so small... It looks weird, doesn't it?
This one is simple- It shows Dark Redd next to a stage that resembles the Bend Band's Music Festival 2011 stage- This ad is from June 2011!
This ad showed what members got when they had a membership in July.
Speaking of July...
Here is an "advertisement" that shows sneak peeks of what's coming in July 2011- The Hawaiian Party was hyped up a lot!
This one, somewhat wrong because of it saying October, was an advertisement for The Island's first ever Fun Fair that occurred in September 2011!
Moving onto 2012, this was an advertisement that showed at the Element Party, showing little sneak peeks of each Karate game!
This was an advertisement for the DJ Party, which was originally going to occurr in February, but started in January instead, and was completely redrawn.
This advertisement is a well-known one, it shows The Island being lifted into the sky and space, all for a lot of Fellys favorite party, the Sky Festival 2012!
Here's an advertisement that showed before the ST. Patrick's Party 2012, confirming the clover hunt!
This advertisement is also pretty well known- It was used before and during the April Fools' Party in 2012- A lot of Fellys thought the last part said "Ready to draw a Crab"?
And speaking of Crabs...
This is a simple sneak peek advertisement showing that the Crab Party was starting April 10th, and ending April 17th, with a new party room!
This ad shows he big news that Fellys were able to travel to Guitar Island for the very first time! From 2011 - 2012, Guitar Island was a destination that every Felly had been wanting to go to, so seeing this really got them excited!
Of course I can't leave this one out. This one has been used every year since 2012, and it originally advertised the Fireworks Party in 2012!
The last one we are checking out is an advertisement for the Festival of Fire in July 2012, which was a big event for Fellys as they had been waiting since February for a new Karate game, but it was a bigger event for Salaman- He got to introduce his new student, Kuzon! Kuzon is a fire ninja for The Island, and can be seen to this day at the Fire Dojo! Fellys also liked just looking at Kuzon & Salaman's head at the bottom right there for some reason...
