Today's The Island Throwback Thursday is all about the Bend Band!
The Bend Band first debuted in March of 2011, consisting of just "Dark Nedd" and "X-Blade" (Known as Nedd and Blade today)
Nedd used to play the Banjo, and Blade would play the drums on the band.
The band's next performance was at Cityline, at the Cityline New Look Party, where Nedd and Blade debuted their new outfits!
The band went for more of a gothic style, and even debuted a new background that day, too!
Nedd became very popular on The Island, and has ever since been the most popular mascot on The Island, to this day.
Several months later, the Bend Band introduced a new member, known as Z-Stone!
Z-Stone officially made his performance debut at the 1st Anniversary Party in February of 2012, as well as introduce new looks.
In April, Z-Stone had announced he's leaving the Bend Band, and officially left after the Music Festival in May 2012.
After that, a new member came to the band known as DJ Fell3, or, known today as "DJ Fellrox"
As many years pass by with the Bend Band being popular, in 2016, Blade announces he will be leaving, and has left after the Music Festival in May 2016.
In August 2016, Blade was replaced with Nedd's sister, Mika Kora.
Mika make her debut with the Bend Band during the Fellimpics 2016, at the Crab Lounge.
And ever since, the Bend Band has been just as good as they have been for many years.
