Heya' Fellys!
Wow. What a year it has been! A whopping 27 new rooms opened up, some FANTASTIC parties that were reimagined and even a little nostalgic, new features, a new look for many rooms, and MUCH more. 2022 was one of, if not THE greatest year The Island has ever had! So let's look back at what The Island has done each month this year!
January
To kick off the new year, The Island introduced a HUGE new feature: Sounds!
The site, logo, etc, all got makeovers and The Island looked 10x cooler, and got noisier!
Later that month, Lando hosted another Pirate Party! This time, with a quest! Fellys could explore deep in the cliff caves to find a clue on where the Kraken was, all whilst celebrating Island-wide with some Pirate themed decor, and the opening of 5 new rooms: The Pirate Port, Pirate Store, Pirate Ship Deck, Nautical Museum, and the Boat Store!
Fellys could finally buy their own boat and decorate it- A long awaited feature!
February
At the start of February, the Cliff Cavern and Underground River were introduced as new rooms, and could be accessed by Fellys!
Back in January, the Copper Crab was discovered on Yesterfester Island, and it turns out these cool looking Crabs ironically don't like the underground- To celebrate the discovery of yet another colored Crab, The Island hosted a Crab Party!
The party reminded the players to help the ocean out, and in-game, you could pick up trash at the Beacon Bay, and, of course, celebrate Crabs!
Alongside the party, the revamped "Downtown" was introduced, known as Crab Capital, and Fellys could access the 3-floored Crab Tower!
Crabs have also been given a HUGE revamp- The adoption page shows more detailed info on them. They have also been given a new look! Oh, and of course, Backyards returned!
March
March was considered a month about the community- Introducing a new room at the Town Center, being the Community Center!
You can meet up with Sky here, and he will give you a tutorial, so that this fast growing Island is easier to understand with all these changes happening already!
And of course, The Island celebrated Stan Zavior with the St. Patrick's Party!
Later in March, the April Fools' Party begins, alongside the 5th mission, "Crabby Prankster!"
April
April was one of the biggest months of the year for The Island. Several rooms were received MASSIVE renovations, new catalogs were released, new minigames like Flappy Crab became playable, new badges were added, and of course- MANY new rooms related to Yesterfesterfitz!
The major party that month was the Islandwood Party, which allowed Fellys to become a STAR! All around The Island, Fellys could act in many different genres of movies, and the party also introduced MANY new rooms like Islandwood, Studio A, Islandwood Theater, Studio B, and even the Yes! Studio!
It was definitely a popular party! Also, Yesterfester's Quizfest! received a MASSIVE update, with many more up to date questions, an improved UI, and more!
May
Yesterfesterfitz was needed again for the month of May! This time, he wanted us to find his long lost, fruit loving brother, Will Billiam!
But, obviously, Yesterfester wanted to throw a party about fruit to help us find him! The Fruit Festival was May's big event, and this month was all about food in general! Firstly, menus for the Ice Cream Parlor, Bakery, and Cafeteria were finally added, and fruit was added to the Restaurant menu, giving Fellys even more of a selection to choose from there!
The Island was decked out with fruity decor all over! From watermelons to pineapples... Grapes to coconuts, the party promoted healthy eating, and gave The Island two more rooms to access thanks to Will Billiam being found, such as the cool looking Fruit Temple!
The Island+ was also added as a free replacement for Membership- You pay coins in-game to get the TI+ benefits, one of which being the new Fruit Temple room!
June
June was an insane month for TI. Probably one of the greatest months The Island has ever had!
Firstly, one of TI's most anticipated events- Dusk's return, happened. This time, his plan was to keep Salaman transformed into a Demon, and forcing him to destroy The Island. Fellys had to stop this plan by visiting Dusk Island, as Dusk slowly took over our island!
This "party" is probably one of the best ones The Island has ever had! The story answered SO MUCH about Dusk, such as why he hates TI, how he got Rusk, and it even returned one of The Island's oldest scrapped characters, Apollo the angel, who was originally planned for a similar event back in 2012!
Fellys had to travel throughout Dusk Island. For the first time EVER, Fellys could FULLY explore his island! And this entire quest was in the style of a TI mission! Cool!
Over on TI, rooms like the Ninja District, Nibiru Dojo, or Dojo were completely destroyed and had to be rebuilt. The process wouldn't be fast, so efforts went on until late August to fix these locations.
In the end, Dusk was defeated by Fellys once again, and currently resides in Blade's Room alongside Rusk behind a cell!
July
In July, Fellys celebrated defeating Dusk with the return of the ISLAND JAM!
Fellys could rock out like always across The Island as many stage genres were present!
The Bend Band wanted to try something new- Instead of touring around Nibiru, they toured across The Island itself! The Bend Band rocked rooms like the Music Store Roof, Field, Crab Capital, and the Soccer Field!
Fellys definitely know how to throw a huge music party! Alongside the Island Jam, many quality of life updates were made, such as more things making sounds, tooltips for button icons, new button designs, graphical updates for the Dance Club, a Random Room button, and even a new room- The News Room, where Fellys could discuss updates & news about TI!
August
Fellys kicked off August with 2 new rooms- The Cenote, and the Roller Rink, as well as MANY renovations! Time Dilemma, The Island's 6th mission, was also made available!
Fellys celebrated the rebuild of the Dojo with the Karate Party!
September
While not much happened in September, Dusk had a backup plan. He had called his minions in Space to attack The Island! Luckily, we had time to learn powers across The Island with the Comet Crew Party, and defeat these "aliens", whilst also permanently adding a new room, the UFO!
October
October is the month of spooks across The Island! Newly decorated rooms awaited us at the Halloween Party!
The Crab Tower was overtaken by BAT CRABS! Crazy, huh? Fellys had to stop them!
Spooky...
November
All November long, The Island celebrated the Winter season with a party similar to the Mountain Climb!
of going up the mountain, however, you could race your friends DOWN the mountain at the Ski Resort Party, hosted by Yesterfesterfitz!
You could win all types of prizes at this party- Including the cool looking Yesterfester Snowboard, which is an ULTRA RARE item- You could only obtain it if you managed to start a race with Yesterfesterfitz!
Several rooms were also renovated later this month, like the Nibiru Dojo, which was finally repaired!
Other renovated rooms included the Library and the Lightning Dojo!
December
To end the fantastic year, Sant Zavior was host of the Merry Island Party, and re-decorated a good bit of rooms to keep The Island modern! Don't worry- The classic 2011 Pet Store, Lighthouse, Natatorium, and Dance Club decorations all returned!
2022 was definitely a GREAT year. It'll be hard, but perhaps 2023 can top it with the confirmed new version of TI, completely changing the game forever!
