Heya' Fellys!
The day & night cycle has been a thing on The Island since May 2023.
Some rooms aren't fully dark, however. For example, the Lighthouse Cliff:
Neither the ground nor the buildings are that dark. The only thing that tells you it's dark out is the sky.
Starting October 8th, that changes for several rooms! Check out the new & improved look for the Lighthouse Cliff at night:
Everything but the outlines, snack booth, and windows are darker! The windows will stay bright because, of course, the inside is lit up, same with the snack booth!
Here's another example, this one is how the Pier looks at night currently:
Only the pier itself is darkened, along with the sand in the background and some of the water.
Here is how the Pier will look with the new & improved night time design!
The music stand and Bowling Alley door stay brightened, and the water down below looks much darker! Objects around the Pier are also darkened!
Not only are the looks for the night time rooms changing, but crickets will also be heard during night time, as well as other door improvements like at the Sporting District!
This change is coming October 8th, just in time for spooky season. I hope you're all excited for the new & improved night time experience!
