Starting April 5th, we are ditching the old tree artstyle for a brand new one! What do I mean by this, you ask?
The current tree design, even though edited slightly since then, has been around since May 2013- Nearly 9 years!
Trees appeared in rooms in May 2013, and have looked the same ever since. As of March 22nd, 2022, here is how they look:
If you look closely, besides the log being neater and the color being different, the trees are the exact same as they were 9 years ago.
So it's time for a change!
Starting April 5th, 2022, with several renovations and graphical updates, trees will look completely different!
How awesome is that, just in time for Earth Day too! More nature to The Island- Yes please!
While every tree in the outdoor rooms won't be updated right away, they will be updated overtime, and the process could take up to 2 years for every 2013 tree to be non-existent. Think of it as a replanting process that Blade is doing!
Be sure to look around for new trees starting April 5th, and who knows, maybe you'll find some birds and bushes? Flowers? Who knows!
