Heya' Fellys!
A lot of questions have been asked ever since the blog post yesterday... And I will answer them with even more information right now!
-Goppers & Fish will not be present AS PETS. Goppers will still be seen, but won't be adoptable. You can go fishing for Fish to add to your collection in your home when they release!
-Felly Island opens on January 19th, 2021.
-The original mascots will still be here, nobody's going anywhere- They just won't be party specific anymore- Instead, they will be where you do tasks. Also, bonus characters new and old will be coming, such as Teaky, PJH, Dusk, and more.
-It will take place on this same site, you won't have to register for a new account or anything.
-It is unknown if xat will still be used, I am exploring other options.
-Crab colors will still be present, sort of. Each Crab type will have it's own unique set of colors- Hermit Crabs will come with Yellow, Orange, Brown, etc- Regular Crabs will come with purple, red, green, etc.
-There will be more varieties of items for your Felly, such as hand accessories like gloves, or arm accessories like watches- There will also be hoodies, jackets, and more.
-There will be lots of references to the original The Island, from things ranging from 2010 - 2020, no worries, we're not completely abandoning the past. (For example, Hybrid Techno Remix, Island Rock Anthem, Snob, etc.)
-Yes, there will still be membership, but it won't be too strict. Fellys can still do a lot without one. Every location will be accessible and all *purchasable* items will be available for everybody. Members will receive free monthly items, and more to be revealed soon.
-Every year, we will still be celebrating the original Island's Anniversary, but we will also have a smaller event in January for FI's anniversaries.
-The game will start off small, but more will keep getting added as time goes by, such as new locations, new parties, and more.
-Interior rooms won't be as common, most things will take place outdoors, eateries will be outdoors with kitchens in an interior, and stores for clothing or other items will have the items be purchased from outdoors.
-Karate will still be a thing, yes.
