Here is a fun fact, The Island used to have Mountain Climbs! Nowadays, the tradition has been long gone and forgotten about, but the memories live on.
Today, we'll be looking back 11 years ago at the very first Mountain Climb that occurred from August 29th - September 1st, 2011!
The Town Center was given a sign for the new event, showing that it is taking place at the Marina!
The Marina was decked out with snowy decor! It had a big screen showing the sled race down to the bottom, a stage, snowflake signs, and of course, the mountain itself!
The mountain climb this year was interesting, it didn't have as much obstacles or much to do like the more recent ones.
The Icey Pack as shown above was pretty bland, too, compared to the recent versions of it.
Of course, the very top of the Mountain was where you'd win! As a prize, you'd get to sled race with your friends all the way down to the bottom!
