Island Throwback: More Old Unused Drawings!

Heya' Fellys!

Welcome back to another Island Throwback post! Today, we will be looking at old scrapped drawings! Some of these were either scrapped early on and returned with a different concept later on, or were entirely scrapped.

Let's get started!

In November 2012, there was going to be an event related to Dusk, where you had to pick demons or angels, and Apollo was going to be a new character introduced at the party! The event was also going to allow you to visit Dusk Island, and defeat Dusk, and stop The Island from sinking! Early versions of this party could be seen on The Island's old YouTube channel, like this one!

The event was scrapped shortly after due to the main idea of the party having you pick between demons or angels- Why would we let Fellys choose to side with Dusk? This event will have several elements of it return in June this year- Including Apollo! Yes, Apollo is about to make an appearance after over 9 years, stay tuned for more info!

The next is a drawing of the Beach at the Holiday Party 2012. This decoration never happened for unknown reasons- I don't remember, but maybe it just didn't look good for the party to me?

Next up is one of my favorite 2012 artworks, the Town Center at a scrapped Music themed party that was going to happen in September 2012!

Fun fact: The "Biggest Bash 2012" is probably the most known scrapped TI event, since it had so many drawings done for it, and it was hyped up a bunch, only to never happen. Another drawing down below shows Superstar City, the decoration for Downtown- It looks awesome for 2012 art!

Here's the Pet Shop for the party, just a huge orchestra stage.

And of course, at the party, it was heavily advertised that the Dance Club would become the "Dubstep Dance Club" and be renovated.

Of course, none of this ever happened, but elements from the party did happen. For example, a few months later, the "Z-Stone's Musical Acts" building opened at the Town Center for the 2nd Anniversary Party, and was permanent until its closure March 2022. Moving on!

Here's a scrapped 2012 room -The Cafeteria! It's a room today, but it was supposed to open in June 2012, and didn't open until February 2015!
