Heya' Fellys!
I'm here with an important announcement for The Island.
So let me get something straight! The game was never meant for kids. When I started working on The Island in 2011, I was still a kid. The cartoony artstyle, some party themes and some jokes and references in it have always been seen as it being for the younger audience.
As time goes by, recently, I have slowly been adding in more and more dramatic themes, as well as more intense battles and scars seen on Fellys such as Splash, who had lost his eye from a Felind attack.
I am in my mid-20s now, and since The Island was never technically a game for kids, I want to make a change that will be affective starting October 1st.
The Island will now be a game for ages 18+. If you are under 18 years old, you can't play.
So, what will change?
-The no swearing rule will be edited. Starting October 1st, you will now be allowed to swear, as long as you are not insulting anybody.
-I have to say this now- There will NEVER be ANYTHING "18+ gross" on the game. Never. Don't worry about that.
-More "graphic" themes such as blood will be seen during any battles with Dusk and other antagonists you will face. There won't be anything gross to look at, so don't worry. The above image is a good example of what will be seen.
-Some mascots may swear now! Honestly, Blade may be the potty-mouth...
-Overall, The Island will jut be more epic with less restrictions.
That's about it. You will see some things such as descriptions in storylines being a little more out-there, starting after October 1st.
Again, OCTOBER 1ST, 2024. After that day, the game will be made 18+. Only people aged 18 and up can play The Island.
