History Of The Care Center!

Heya' Fellys!

As many of you know by now, the Care Center will be closing on February 8th in favor of construction for the Crab Tower. While it may be sad to some, it will definitely be an improvement and a much needed upgrade for Crabs and other pets!

To recognize the room before it closes, this is the history of the Care Center!

It all started with a sketch in early March 2013:

Then the Care Center debuted at the Marina as the "Crab Care Center" on April 11th, 2013, during the Crab Party!

Originally, it was meant to be a temporary party room and would only appear at other Crab Parties.

Inside, there was something for almost all Crabs to enjoy! Toys, a dance floor, a bath, bed, and even a pool!

During Dusk Week in May 2013, construction began on the room to make it permanent, replacing the Crab Sticker Shop in Downtown.

Inside was many boxes with many supplies to use for the room.

Eventually, more and more was added.

Fun fact: For a small amount of time, the Crab Lounge was moved to this room, before being moved back to above the Arcade in 2014.

When the room opened, more things were added to it, like a garden, a stage, and a TV!

As the years went on, the room was rarely decorated for parties and got renovated a few times, the newest one looking like this:

Be sure to visit the room a lot on February 7th, as that is the last day it will be open! Stay tuned for more news on the new Crab Tower, opening February 15th!
