Heya' Islanders!
Today, The Island's last ever Merry Island Party began. To celebrate the history of the longest active party on The Island (2011 - 2025), we will be looking back at some of the more significant Merry Island parties held on TI. Let's get started!
The first ever Merry Island Party was in 2011, and it was known as the "Christmas Party".

For the first time ever, the entire island was covered with snow and the surrounding bodies of water turned into ice. Fellys could go ice fishing, ice skating, build snowfellys, and of course, meet Santa Claus.

Few decorations from 2011 were brought back for every Merry Island Party until 2024.
In 2013, the party was renamed to the "Holiday Party", and this year, Sant Zavior took over Santa's job and officially was named the father of Merry Island!

This party introduced multiple new traditions, such as caroling on Carol Street, giving tour guides in the Holiday Tour Suit, and more.
This party also marked the first appearance ever of the Holiday Crab, which wouldn't be adoptable until 2014.

To Zachary's surprise, more "Holiday" Crabs were sighted - they were given the name based on their interesting multi-color look. They were officially made adoptable at the Pet Store during the Holiday Party 2014.

Also, for the first time, Fellys could check out Sant's Workshop and help work on toys for other Fellys!

Skip a few years forward, the Holiday Party 2017 introduced a story for all Fellys to read, which has become another beloved Merry Island tradition: "Christmas Eve on The Island", about a Felly named Sam seeking a warm place to stay for the Holidays.

In 2018, a snowstorm occurred on The Island, and Brachyura Island was overwhelmed with so much snow before decorations could be put up!

Nonetheless, the party had to go on!

In 2020, a new book released, marking the debut of Rudy the Red Nosed Gopper!

During the Holiday Party 2020, Fellys could visit a mysterious underground ice cavern, where they could transform into Yetis!

It turns out that this all lead up to something funky going on with the nearby Iceberg, and in January 2021, Fellys had to solve the mysteries of the Iceberg!
It wasn't until 2022 where the Holiday Party was officially renamed to the Merry Island Party, the name all Fellys have for the holiday!

That leads us to 2025 - the final Merry Island Party. It's time to make Holiday memories for the last time on The Island - I hope you all enjoy this year's party!
Thanks for reading!
