Heya' Islanders!
July this year is shaping up to be filled with all types of fun and huge changes! I've already announced that the Tropical Beach Party will replace the Dance Club, offering a much better dancing experience for Fellys outdoors, but there is much more coming in July!
First, kick off the new month with the Fireworks Party at the Crab Capital! Like every other year, join a kickoff and watch the fireworks at night! This year, you'll have to wait until night time to see the fireworks, which will occur at 9:00 PM local time. The Fireworks Party starts July 2nd, and ends July 9th!
Later in the month, Yesterfesterfitz and Splash will host the Island Carnival, a new party that will transform The Island into a fair with minigames, rides, prizes, and much more! Also, Splash will be debuting the new Splash Cruise, a HUGE cruise ship with MANY activities and fun to be had on board!
At the very start of the month, on July 2nd, many outdoor rooms will be renovated, and many rooms will close. The following rooms will be renovated:
-Island Central
-Beacon Bay
-Aquarium
-Shopping Plaza
-Boardwalk Plaza
-Chocalaterie
-District
-Fruity Forest
-Gueffro's Rock
-Water Cavern
-Welcome Atoll
And the following rooms will be closed:
-Dance Club
-Iceberg
-Crab Lounge
-Natatorium
-DJ Lounge
-Boardwalk
-Ice Cream Parlor
-Industrial Park
-Cloud Factory
-Sand Factory
-UFO
And several more,
One of the bigger changes is that the Boardwalk Plaza will be completely transformed into a different room! The Ice Cream Parlor will be moved here, and will be a food stand instead, so you can only eat outdoors by the water! The room will also be a boardwalk along the ocean, with great views! To the right of the room, you'll find the new Chocolaterie, transformed from a factory into a chocolate store! Here is a basic sketch of how the Boardwalk Plaza will look starting July 2nd:
